Chuck E. Cheese's Peyton Town Square was a Chuck E. Cheese's location that opened in September 2010 and closed in July 2024.
History[]
The store opened with the 2010 update to the 2005 Remodel, with a stage that only it used, a Studio C Alpha Cappa Mix with a bot from another location. It received criticism because it was built on a landfill. In 2013, the location would receive an update, replacing the Avenger Chuck logo with Rockstar Chuck.
Around 2014 the location started receiving a bad reputation, due to many cold pizzas when delivery was ordered from the location. In 2015 it shut down for a brief period due to it failing its monthly health inspection. It reopened months later. After opening again, the Skytubes area was upgraded to be bigger. In 2017, the location started serving alcohol to adults.
In mid July 2018, people started to worry about the location's safety. The parking lot was sinking because of the effects of the landfill it was built on. One ceiling tile had a spot of black mold - however that was fixed before anyone got sick.
In 2019, plans to shut down the Chuck E. Cheese PERMANENTLY were considered because of its recent violent fight, but the shutdown never took place.
In February 2020, Chuck E's cap on the stage was replaced. It was replaced because the old cap, the Phase 3 cap, didn't match with Chuck's Phase 4 clothing. The store closed during COVID in March but reopened in June. As a result of COVID, the Skytubes area was permanently closed, and the structure was removed on October 27, 2020.
Right around the middle of 2021, the location would add 5 new games and remove 2 broken games.
In August 2022 the store would receive the 2.0 remodel, with a new dance floor and video wall. On February 6, 2024, the store received a new dance floor, as there was a defect in the old one that caused it to shut off multiple times during the day.
On April 15, 2024, it was announced that the location would move to another space in December 2024, therefore permanently closing the original space after moving. However, unexpectedly, the location closed in July 2024, 5 months early.
Stages[]
- Studio C Alpha Cappa (2010-2022)
- Dance Floor + Video Wall (2022-2024)
Animatronics[]
The store had a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic. Interestingly, the animatronic was not a Studio C bot, it was a 3-Stage bot, with the ability of being able to perform more movements than any Studio C bot. It was added after a lot of movements on the store's already installed 16 movement Studio C animatronic broke. In August 2022 the animatronic was removed during the 2.0 remodel. The entire animatronic was found in a dumpster and saved.
